The Tree and the Cat

This collection was inspired by Yevgeny Sivokon’s seminal film, ‘The Tree and the Cat’(1983). The most prolific Soviet/Ukrainian animator to ever live. He continously pushed the boundaries of his craft while maintaining a distinctive, raw style.

This collection looks to echo the poetic and mysterious allure of Yevegeny’s film. With all natural fibers and straightforward silhouettes. Each piece requires a closer look in order to reveal the secrets they hold within.
